Position
This villa (on three floors) was built at the beginning of the 1800s
in a panoramic spot on the hillside, half way between Massa Lubrense
and S.Agata. It has a large lawn to the front with a swimming
pool measuring 8X4 metres and to the side of the lawn
are olive trees. The villa is not suitable for those who prefer the
"modem life" but is ideal for those who prefer a taste of
history set amongst flowers and greenery. There are numerous lovely
walks to be enjoyed in the area. May we point out that if you are allergic
to animals, the owners have two friendly basset/hounds and a cat. We
approached the villa in a large car, along a steeply hump-backed road
but if you prefer, you can park nearby and be collected. |

Typology
The large garden is enclosed but you can park inside the gate. The apartment
on the ground floor comprises a sitting room with fireplace,
table, settee and TV. A few steps lead down into the kitchen equipped
with table, hob, oven and washing machine. Four steps lead up from the
sitting room to the sleeping quarters which includes a double bedroom
overlooking the garden, a small shower room and a small bedroom with
1/2 single beds and small terrace overlooking the garden. Sleeps
3/4.
A short pathway leads from the garden to a large open space (with panoramic
view) and an antique doorway which leads up a stone staircase to the
first floor and a communal entrance for two other apartments. The first
apartment is to the left and has an open-plan kitchen/living room
with table, settee, and TV. An external spiral staircase leads from
the small balcony down to the garden and swimming
pool. There are two steps leading up to a private terrace
where you may sunbathe and enjoy the view
of the bay of Naples. An internal staircase leads up
to the bedrooms and large shower room.
The double bedroom has wooden beams and a small terrace overlooking
the garden, the small bedroom with 1/2 single beds has a window overlooking
the garden. Sleeps 3/4.
The second apartment
to the right of the communal entrance comprises a small equipped kitchen,
with small terrace over the garden; a beautiful sitting room surrounded
by a gallery with a view of Capri
to one side and the garden to the other, A spiral staircase constructed
in iron leads to the sleeping quarters which include a double bedroom
with window overlooking Capri, a single room and a shower room with
small terrace. Sleeps 3.
The first and second
apartments being side by side and having a communal entrance could be
ideal for a family group or friends of up to 6/7 persons.
